Description: The Journey
With Sabirul Islam having started his own successful website designing business at the age of 14, he was then continually approached by many young potential entrepreneurs who asked him continuously how he has achieved such success at a very young age.
Sabirul has a very strong view in supporting young talent and developing enterprise and entrepreneurship skills and instead of just letting the young people know what to do and where to go, Sabirul had the idea of doing it differently.
This inspired him to write his first book called ‘The World At Your Feet,’ at the age of 17. This book inspires young individuals about why putting their talent and abilities to action can help bring success into their lives.
With Sabirul Islam being born and raised in a society that often saw crime and violence as a way forward, he believes that the book can inspire young individuals to think differently. Every individual has unique abilities, when exploited can bring the world at their feet.
Whether its for them to make the millions they always wanted or to put a smile on a million faces, Sabirul believes that what he has learnt in his entrepreneurial journey is priceless when it comes to sharing it with the community, by inspiring them and making them believe that nothing is impossible.
With the book first being self published on New Years Day 2008, it sold over 42,500 copies in nine months. Through Sabirul's success through networking, he was able to get contract signed with Marshall Cavendish, a mainstream publisher in August 2008 to take 'The World At Your Feet' book worldwide!
From inspiring young budding entrepreneurs to having them start their own entrepreneurial journey, Sabirul Islam feels that the story told behind the journey and experience through 'The World At Your Feet' illustrates what he calls the "Three strikes to a successful entrepreneurial life!"
