Tina

Tina has a life-long love of books and publishing. It all started at junior school where she read every book the school possessed and then some. She followed a career in magazine publishing before becoming an author by accident in 2005, when she gave a talk to horses riders lacking in confidence and was ‘discovered’ by a commissioning editor at Hodder and Stoughton. Three little books of horsy humour followed: 100 Ways for a Horse to Train its Human, 100 Ways to Live with a Horse Addict, and 100 Ways a Horse is Better Than a Man. To date the books have sold around 100,000 copies.
A radio interview about the books with Tony Wadsworth at BBC Radio Leicester led Tina into a new world of radio presenting and she now presents a weekly magazine programme for women, Girls on Top, on Boundary Sound.
Presenting The Book Channel brings together all her favourite things: books, publishing and interviewing interesting people.
